FAQs

How is the booking process?

Let’s get you scheduled! After you select your session type we will set a date and time for the shoot. Shortly after, an email will be sent your way with information regarding the contract. Payment in full is required up front to secure your date and time. As your session date approaches you will be sent more information via email on how to prepare for your session, along with other tips and tricks. In the case of inclement weather, we will reschedule. Weather calls will be made the day of before noon (let us know if you require more advanced notice)!

Wardrobe selection and location?

Be ready to bring and wear something that represent you as a professional and/or actor. We will help you select attires for the shot. For actors it is important to have a notion of what you would like to be cast for! Most of the work will take place in the studio, which will allow us to control light and select the best settings for you. However, if you would prefer to be photographed at a specific location, we will plan accordingly. For outdoor shoots, the best shooting locations rarely have level ground, so plan accordingly. If you would like an environmental portrait, but you don’t have a place in mind, there is no need to worry about finding the perfect location; leave that up to us! Our favorite spots change week to week depending on the season and your needs.

Also, have all your garments ironed, bring any accessory you see fit and hydrate well the day before the session. Your skin and lips will look better if you are well hydrated.

What happens after I book my session?

Prior to your session you will receive a questionnaire that details items of importance to you us to concentrate on. Examples of this would be “we want the main focus to be on having the most variety possible”. Expect your session to be reflective to what you see on our website. Our sessions are interactive. Although our sessions revolve around emotion and presence, we always make time for that untraditional and fun images.

I am not good at posing. What should I do?

Our main goal is to capture you authentically. Kick back, relax and have FUN! Interaction is the core of a successful session. While the majority of the session will be focused on specific posing, we will strive for true emotions. We will interact and coach you during the session so we can get a great set of images.

Rest assured that we’ve got this! Our style thrives on being authentic and real. Leave your stress at the door and concentrate on having fun!

When do I get my pictures?

Your session images will be ready within two weeks of the session! You will receive an email that holds the gallery link along with detailed instructions on how to place any orders or to redeem any prints, products or digital files that came with your session.
